Adult Learner & Student Parent Week 2022

Adult Learner & Student Parent Week 2022

Adult Learner & Veteran Services (ALVS) supports the increased academic achievement and holistic development for all adult learners, resulting in graduation from Colorado State University (CSU) and sustainable personal and professional success. We do this through engagement and leadership opportunities, community building, and resource facilitation. The ALVS also recognizes the hard work that student parents put into balancing family life, parenthood, and college coursework.

To celebrate the many adult learners and student parents on CSU’s campus, the ALVS is hosting Adult Learner & Student Parent Week. This joint week is to honor and recognize our adult learners and student parents’ efforts in obtaining their degree while also providing them an opportunity to learn about the resources and support available to them to the CSU/Fort Collins community.

Pool Party @ the CSU Rec Center

Join the ALVS in bringing Adult Learner & Student Parent Week to an end at our Pool Party @ the CSU Rec Center! Families and Partners are welcome!

With four 25-yard lap lanes, a zero depth entry, ADA lift, rock wall, lazy river, volleyball and basketball area… we’re pretty confident you’ll find something to love at the Aquatic Center. Pool access is available from the men’s and women’s locker rooms or through the gender inclusive changing area.

Wondering what to wear in the pool? Wear attire that is most comfortable to you and your needs. The only thing we ask is that it is clean, athletic attire (traditional swimsuits, athletic shirts, athletic shorts, athletic pants, t-shirts, or breathable long sleeve shirts, water shoes). To ensure your safety, jeans, socks, street shoes, or solely undergarments are not allowed in the aquatics area.
