Graduation is the culmination of all the time, energy, and work that you have put into gaining your degree, and it gives you a great chance to celebrate all that you have achieved. It’s a symbol of change, progression, and moving onto new adventures… and we’re so proud of you!

Graduation Cords & Stoles

Graduating seniors who want an Adult Learner Graduation Cord or Veterans Stole will need to complete either of the following surveys. Surveys will open March 18th.

Who is eligible to participate?

Previous participation with Adult Learner & Veteran Services is not required to receive a cord or a stole.

FREE!


Frequently Asked Questions

  • You do NOT need to attend the graduation in order to receive your stole or cord. There will be other pick-up times available for those of you that are not able to attend the graduation.
  • At the end of either survey, graduating students will be given the option to
    • receive their stole or cord at the ALVS Graduation Dinner & Spring Celebration on May 2nd,
    • beginning April 22, pick up their graduation stole or cord at any time between Monday – Friday from 8 AM – 5 PM in the ALVS Office (LSC 282),
    • have it put into their graduation regalia package, or
    • have it mailed.

NOTE: Graduating students requesting to have their cord or stole mailed will not receive it in time for graduation.

ALVS Graduation Dinner & End of Year Celebration – Spring Semester

All are welcome to come celebrate our graduates! Please bring friends, family, or a Campus Champion (staff or faculty) who has supported you on your journey!
