Adult Learner & Veteran Services
Ram Kidz Village at Morgan Library
Ram Kidz Village (RKV) A free educational service in the Morgan Library to support study time for currently enrolled, fee paying, undergrad and graduate students with children ages 12 months to 11 years old. Students must stay in the library while kids are at RKV. Students can bring their kids for up to 2 hours and 45 minutes of supervision. RKV offers both in person services and take-home activities.

Early Childhood Center
The ECC is located just 5 minutes from campus (at 223 South Shields, Fort Collins CO 80521) and offers affordable child care for Fort Collins community members and student parents at CSU. The ECC’s service mission is to provide a developmentally appropriate, Reggio Emilia-inspired learning environment for young children. We enroll children ages 6 weeks to 6 years (pre-kindergarten). The ECC maintains Larimer Child Care Connect–a helpful website that helps parents find child care that fits the unique needs of your family.
Career Center Part-Time Community Jobs for Students Board
CSU community members can post part time community jobs for CSU students, one of the categories being child care. Only CSU students and staff can see jobs posted on this board, they must log-in using their CSU eID. Student parents can utilize this resource to post for babysitters or part-time nanny positions.
To submit a position to be posted on the board, fill out the form linked below and follow these guidelines and information for utilizing the job board:
- Positions must pay at least minimum wage.
- Positions are reviewed by the Career Center so will take at least 3 business days to be posted.
- You will receive an email when your request is posted.
- All positions are open until filled and once posted will remain live for 1 month.

Early Childhood Council of Larimer County (ECCLC)
Early Childhood Council of Larimer County (ECCLC) is an independent nonprofit organization that rallies support, resources, and awareness to ensure every young child in the community has quality early childhood experiences.
ECCLC maintains a local child care referral website, called Larimer Child Care Connect, to help you find the care you need. With just a few clicks you can receive personalized search results of child care and preschool programs near you! You can find the program best fitted for you and your family and can filter results by financial aid options, quality ratings, and available spots. Referrals are not recommendations. It is your responsibility to screen child care providers and decide who will best meet your family’s needs.
When you visit Larimer Child Care Connect, you will:
- Enter your name and email address
- Receive an email with a personalized login link
- Enter information about your child(ren) in need of care and your desired location
- Get your personalized search results tailored to your needs
When you find a program that meets your needs, click on a program’s customized profile to show you available spots, hours of operation, program highlights, financial aid options, and more! With hundreds of vacant child care spots updated weekly, you can search for programs close to home, school, work, or anywhere in between.
Poudre School District Early Childhood Education Programs
No-cost and tuition-based Preschool programs for children school age 3 years old (2 years prior to Kindergarten) and 4 years old (the year prior to Kindergarten). Must be 3 years old by Oct 1 of the enrolling year. Children with Integrated Services may enroll upon their 3rd birthday. Family must reside in Poudre School District. Prenatal, infant, and toddler home visiting program offering parent education and mentoring for families, screenings and evaluations through Integrated Services. Services for families expecting a child and/or with children from birth to age 3.
Poudre School District Early Head Start
Early Head Start serves prenatal mothers through child’s age 36 months providing family mentors, educational materials to parents and child, home visits, center-based and home-based options, support for growth and change, learn about child development and risk factors, and connections to community support.
Poudre School District AlphaBEST
Our programs are designed to give you peace of mind when your child is not in school. Experienced, caring, and licensed staff ensures your child is safe, engaged, and happy! Every student participates in enrichment activities every day, at no additional charge! Coding, Robotics, Art, Drama, Spanish, Mandarin, Sign Language, Fitness & Sports, and Engineering/Maker Activities keep your child engaged and having fun every day at AlphaBEST! Snacks, homework help, recreation, and student-choice clubs are also provided to every student.
Thompson School District Early Childhood Education
The mission of the Thompson Integrated Early Childhood Program is to provide high quality, developmentally appropriate education and family centered services that value and respect the diversity of individual children and families. Through collaboration with community and educational resources, we will strive to identify and alleviate barriers that interfere with the ability of families and children to reach their full potential. The Thompson Integrated Early Childhood Program provides quality preschool experiences and specialized services for up to 700 three and four year olds who are eligible for free preschool or a tuition-pay option.
Boys & Girls Club of Larimer County
Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County provides a safe, fun, and affordable place for youth ages 6-18 to go during out-of-school hours. Our programs include unique opportunities for academic enrichment, art & music education, social-emotional learning, fitness & athletics, social recreation, and more.
Locations throughout Larimer County.
Boys & Girls Clubs is also a fun and inclusive place for kids to spend time in summer. Their action-packed activities inspire creativity, build character, and provide academic enrichment. The summer program is an affordable way for kids to make friends, learn new things, and have fun!
CHILDCARE FINANCIAL RESOURCES
Larimer County Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP)
The Colorado Child Care Assistance Program (CCCAP) provides child care assistance to families who meet the income guidelines, meet current eligibility requirements, and families who are enrolled in the Colorado Works program. CCAP provides access to reduced cost child care at licensed child care facilities or qualified (unlicensed) providers.
United Way Larimer County Child Care Fund
The Larimer Child Care Fund provides scholarships that make quality child care more affordable for working families. It helps parents enter and stay in the workforce while ensuring young children have access to the early learning experiences that lay the foundation for lifelong success.

WomenGive Child Care Scholarship for Single Mothers
WomenGive provides child care scholarships, emergency financial assistance and direct cash assistance to single mothers pursuing higher education. By investing in two generations at once, WomenGive helps families build lasting financial stability while children receive high-quality early care.
K-12 Summer Programs
CSU K-12 Summer Programs
Summer programs for kindergarten through high school students include credit-bearing, academic, and sport programs. Teachers may explore sustainable teaching and the benefits of movement in the classroom. These programs are offered by many CSU departments and organizations hosting events virtually and on campus at Colorado State University. Programs generally update listings from late November through June. Many programs provide need-based scholarships, and some are no-cost.
When current year information is not yet available, previous summer information is provided; most programs will be offered again. Some new programs included the CSU Cyber Camp: Crypto for Fun and Security, First-Generation Business Summit, and GirlsGetMath@CSU — all free!

The City of Fort Collins Recreation Department offers reduced fees for low-income residents and families to minimize financial barriers to participate in recreation programs and access City facilities.
City of Loveland Parks & Recreation
Loveland Parks & Recreation Foundation accommodates scholarship requests based on income requirements so that every child has the opportunity to participate in recreation activities, regardless of family financial barriers.
Scholarship applications need to process through one of their referral partners.
