Hello there! My name is Melanie, I use she/her/hers pronouns and I am studying Human Dimensions of Natural Resources with a minor in Spanish. I wanted to join the RKV team because I love working with children and I love teaching. I am especially passionate about hands-on learning and creative educational activities. I am excited to bring my passion to RKV this year! After graduation, I hope to work as an environmental educator for the National Park Service. Outside of work and school, I love to hike, take photos of cool things in nature, play board games, watch movies and crochet! I can’t wait to get to know the RKV community!
