Bri Ridenour, M.S. (She/Her)

My name is Brianna Ridenour (she/her), but you can call me Bri!

I am the full-time Program Coordinator for Adult Learner & Veteran Services (ALVS)! In this role, I oversee our first-year transition programs such as ELEVATE: ALVS’ Summer Bridge Program and our Peer Advising program. In addition to those programs, I also teach the ALVS section of IU 172: New Student Seminar during the fall semester.

I had the pleasure of serving as the ALVS Coordinator of Student Engagement within a graduate student capacity from 2020-2022 while being enrolled in CSU’s Student Affairs in Higher Education (SAHE) Master of Science program. Although I began my graduate program in the unprecedented times of the COVID-19 pandemic, I was always so inspired by the tenacity of our student population, and the ways our team was able to transition and grow our support for adult learners, student veterans, and students with children throughout all the staffing and public health changes that have occurred since I arrived.

A little about me : I attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) as a first-generation student where I majored in Human Resources Management and became a certified Student CliftonStrengths coach through the Clifton Foundation. During my undergraduate career, I also became incredibly involved in UNL’s diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice efforts, and found a passion for Student Affairs. I became a NASPA Undergraduate Fellow (NUFP) and actively participated in NASPA Region IV-W. After graduation, I interned at the University of Notre Dame as one of their first Student Development Interns, and completed projects for their Student Development Team, Student Activities Office, Multicultural Student Programs and Services, Family Resource Center, and Summer Bridge for Student Athletes. Before attending CSU, I served two years as an AmeriCorps member/College Access Coach with a nonprofit organization called College Possible in Omaha, Nebraska. In my free time, I love geocaching, disc golfing, and hiking!
