Don Banks Veterans Scholarship

Donald D. Banks served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He had several friends who did not return from the war. He established this fund to provide financial assistance to military personnel who have served in the military and who have served in a war zone and/or in combat as defined by the United States Military.

The purpose of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to military personal who have served in a war zone and/or in combat.

The recipient(s) of the scholarship shall:

  1. be a student enrolled at Colorado State University;
  2. demonstrate financial need as established by CSU’s Office of Student;
  3. maintain an overall minimum 3.0 GPA; and
  4. have served in the military in a war zone and/or in combat as defined by the United States Military.

CSUSA generally opens on October 1st and the deadline is the following March 1st. CSUSA submissions apply to the following academic year.
